Looking at the ftp site for the versions for 6.2 then:

ls [rp]*6x.i386*

popt-1.5.1-6x.i386.rpm                 rpm-build-3.0.5-7.6x.i386.rpm
popt-1.5-6x.i386.rpm                   rpm-build-3.0.6-6x.i386.rpm
popt-1.5-7.6x.i386.rpm                 rpm-devel-3.0.3-6x.i386.rpm
rpm-3.0.3-6x.i386.rpm                  rpm-devel-3.0.4-6x.i386.rpm
rpm-3.0.3-6x.i386.tar.gz               rpm-devel-3.0.5-7.6x.i386.rpm
rpm-3.0.4-6x.i386.rpm                  rpm-devel-3.0.6-6x.i386.rpm
rpm-3.0.5-7.6x.i386.rpm                rpm-python-3.0.4-6x.i386.rpm
rpm-3.0.6-6x.i386.rpm                  rpm-python-3.0.5-7.6x.i386.rpm
rpm-build-3.0.4-6x.i386.rpm            rpm-python-3.0.6-6x.i386.rpm

Would seem to indicate that `popt-1.5-7.6x.i386.rpm' is the most
recent version of popt that goes with the 6x series.

However the updates directory has:

`popt-1.5-9.6x.i386.rpm'  <= looks like a newer one.

So is `popt-1.5-9.6x.i386.rpm' still compatible with the newly
released rpm?
