Hi guys,
When i use Gnorpm or kpackage to install somethin new ...
It shows tons of dependencies so i have to find out which they are and
install them one by one ...
this happens even when im doin that from the installation CD the packages
it
requires are on the cd itself...
When i initially installed and was selecting packages to be installed the
dependencies were pointed out and i was given the option to install
packages
to
satisfy dependencies(RH 7.1). Can u guys tell me if there's any rpm tool
that offers this functionality too ?
Ani
My installation is a hybrid of RH 7.0 and 7.1 ... thats cos my 7.1 cd 2 is
damaged so the upgrade process got stuck in the middle ...
the system works ok but some things are screwed up.Im tryin to fix this by
installing individual packages so i dont have to run the full thing again
...Thanks in advance ...
