newbie questions

Dear list,

                    1. I placed all the files to be installed in the %post section.Is this correct? Otherwise how to install the files.
 
                    2.When  installing all the files are being copied to the " /". I dont want to place these files there I want them in a temporary directory.How to do this.
 
                    3.When I'm using the "Requires" I'm having the failed dependencies problem even though I have the required packages.I created a rpmrc file in   /etc/ and wrote the package names there then I'm facing the problem to check the version.If I need to check the version >= .How to do that?
