Corrupted rpm database

Hi there,

when executing rpm -qa I get a Segmentation fault after a while. The last displayed 
entry is "control-center-1.2.2-8". This problem is new : I had a crash when trying to 
install gnome-core with kpackage. I think the rpm database has been damaged. How 
could I fix this ?

Any help is welcome.
