Problems with my redhat DB

Hi,

I decided to do some upgrading of my RH 7.2 with up2date...

I probably had a bad rpm db earlier, since I got some weird problems (it was
due to a bad hard disk)..

Anyway, I tried to build the RPM DB again with rpm --rebuilddb - that didn't
help. I tested rpm --initdb and then rpm --rebuilddb - doesn't help either..

I tried for example to install just for test case - netscape. Here is the
output log:

RPMS]# rpm -Uvh netscape-common-4.78-2.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
        indexhtml >= 6.2-2 is needed by netscape-common-4.78-2
        /bin/sh   is needed by netscape-common-4.78-2
        /bin/sh   is needed by netscape-common-4.78-2
        /bin/sh   is needed by netscape-common-4.78-2
        /bin/sh   is needed by netscape-common-4.78-2

Of course, I can hardly belive that my system will work without /bin/sh

Any suggestion of how to rebuild the database again or do I need to
re-install everything (which will be a disaster for me)...

Thanks,
