I'm trying to update my rpm from version 4.0-7x to 4.0.1 or 4.0.2, but
when I try to update my version (ex: rpm -U rpm.4.0.1.rpm ) it allwais
stops with the error message : failed dependencies rpm = 4.0 is needed
by blah blah....but my rpm is 4.0!! what else it needs to run?? I have
already trieed almost all the versions available at rpm.org, but none
worked.....Do we have do be Ph.D at MIT to do this????
Thanks for any help, and sorry for the anger...
