Absolutely agreed, but I gotta finish ripping out rpmrc configuration entirely
first, and that's gonna involve using config.guess strings rather than the
internal soft-wired arch/os numbers that are instantiated in the compatibility
tables in rpmrc, and figgering legacy compatibility and then convincing
the world that what's in rpmrc needed to change.
I'll get there yet :-)
