YAY! This is something I've been hoping for for a long time (but have
been too damn lazy/busy to do myself). Are we likely to see this in
rpm 4.0.4, rpm 4.0.x, or some 4.N.x release?
My site still hasn't translated our horde of multi-UNIX spec files from
rpm 2.5.6 to 3.x or 4.x yet, but I may start the process when the change
you mention above firms up a bit.
