Failed dependencies

Hi!

I downloaded the latest version of RPM (4.0.2). When
I tried to install,
it required some other packages. With a lots of them
I had succes, only
the text/fileutils I couldn't install because it
required the
install-info / texinfo (I think thees are the same?)
packages. And  for
texinfo I needed the ncurses, and libc.so.6=glibc2.2
library.
By this step I had problem, because the glibc2.2.rpm
package needed the
newest version of RPM.

Can you help/can I find the glibc2.2 library in
tar.gz format somewhere?
