Hi all,
I have rpm-4.0.2 running on my redhat 7.0. Today I
Have seen some strange
behavoiur when upgrading rpms.
First when i tried to upgrade my kernel rpm to 2.4.5
it reported ' kernel
2.4.3 which is newer than 2.4.5 is already installed'
and secondly when i
tried to upgrade pmake it upgraded from 2.1.34 to
1.45-3 successfully.

So what i am wondering is that what are the things
that are taken into count
rpm when performing Upgradation .

Thanks.
