Re: compiling rpms

I have also tried to to edit the /etc/rpmrc file with the same result. Finally I
saw a tip that helped me out: Put an option in the command line. Like this:
rpm --target=i586 -- rebuild [filename]
This command placed a new RPM in the 586-directory
