Re: database corrupted



Whew.  OK.  That fixed it.  I really had to go through the ringer to get 
4.0.3 running, but my database seems to be fine now.  Since I'm running on a 
Redhat 6.2 system there were lots of older versions of programs.  For 
example, it had glibc 2.1 installed rather than 2.2.  The binary rpms you 
pointed me to required glibc 2.2 and there are always other programs that 
require glibc2.1.  Anyway I ended up downloading the source rpm from 
ftp.rpm.org for V4.0.3-0.57 and compiling the code on my system from scratch. 
 Everything seems fine now.
