RPM installer

hi, everyone

I hope there's somebody out there who can help  me out with this one:

i'm programming a rpm-installer wich, of course, makes use of the rpmlib
and the purpose is to use it as a base-installer (it's to be used in a
fresh instalation of linux in a computer), wich means it has to install
over 200 packages at once.now, my problem is: it works just fine for a
couple of packages(more than 20) but as i try to install 227 packages it
crashes in the middle of the instalation. i'm thinking maybe it's the
rpmdep structure (i add all the 227 packages to one rpmdep structure and
then pass it to rpmRunTransactions) but i'm not sure, does anyone have a
suggestion or a clue?
