I built and installed the src.rpm on both a glibc-2.1.3/gcc-2.95.3 and a 
glibc-2.2.2/gcc-3.0pre PPC machine and now:

[root@entropy:~]# rpm -q --changelog rpm
Segmentation fault

This worked fine with the prerelease. A lot of changelogs work, but some 
like rpm and XFree86 fail now.
