RPM command parameters parsing ( bug ? ... )

Hello Jeff,
I installed rpm-4.0.4-0.4.src.rpm from rawhide.
Here's what I'm getting when building a package:

rpm -bc -vv --nodeps --target i586-younameit-linux binutils.spec
OK...

rpm -bc -vv --target i586-younameit-linux --nodeps binutils.spec
gives:

Building target platforms: --nodeps
Building for target --nodeps
error: failed to stat /usr/local/src/chechaco/SPECS/i586-chechaco-linux: No
such file or directory

After playing with the latter examle little bit I can say that the rpm wants
--target <...> to immediately precede .spec file.
If there's something in between, it'd spit out something like above.

Regards,

Sergey Ostrovsky.
