Are there searchable archives of this list?  I've dug through the
newsgroup and not found the exact answer to my question and before I
embark I would like to make sure I am doing the right thing.

I upgraded to version 4.0.2 of RPM via someone's handy dandy automagic
updating utility and have successfully screwed up my rpmdb.  Is there
any hope of recovering this?  Is there any way to fix it?
