Re: RPM upgrade on S390

Thanks for the reply. I have moved on a bit and downloaded
rpm-3.0.6-6x.src.rpm. This has the S390 code in the config.guess just as
you mentioned. I am now chasing down the dependencies. I need to install
python-devel, found python & python-devel source on IBM website. the
versions were 1.5.2-7. We have python 1.5.2-238 installed. Not sure which
is the latest release. I have assumed -7 and when I try to install that it
requires libgmp-so.2 & libreadline.so.3.  When I do a locate on these
modules I find we have libgmp-so.3 & libreadline.so.4. Therefore I am
begining to think that the -238 was the latest release.
