adding/changing scripts without rebuilding the whole RPM

Is there any way to add/change a %(pre|post)[un] script after you've
built the binary rpm?  I'm making a bunch of RPMs at the moment, and
somehow seem to screw up the %post script on the first try for every
rpm.  It's easy enough to fix, usually, but it requires rebuilding the
RPM from source, which takes some time, even on a fast machine.
