Yup, vpkg_provides2.sh is the most effective means to supply
dependencies from the native operating system if not using rpm
to manage the entire system.
The script's a bit under documented, and lacks clear conventions
for choosing package name-version-release. I'd love to get this
cleaned up, if you feel like sending me a patch.
