%configure and Mandrake 8.2

Hello!

I am building a timidity rpm package.  If I use the %configure macro the
binary get the name i586-mandrake-linux-gnu-timidity.

If I use ./configure the binary get the mane timidity. (I struggled with
the naming problem a coulpe of days before i tried ./configure)

Is it a bug in the %configure macro?

rpm is rpm-4.0.3-10mdk.
