A newbie question

Hi,

I have a software which I need to package it on Linux platform using
RPM.
I do need information about the configuration files like .rpmrc etc.
Where do I find them?

When I run, rpm -ba <spec file>
I do see the following line...

cd /usr/src/redhat/BUILD.

how do I change it to point to my package directory.

Any pointers would be of great help.
