I tested the 4.1 version that's been in rawhide for a few days (weeks?).
I've been having quite a few problems with it (stuck and having to remove
__* files for instance), but as I'm having problems with just about
everything in the current rawhide, I can't really tell if it's actually rpm
itself that's the problem or not.

Another side note is that in rawhide, I can't get apt for rpm to recompile,
neither with gcc 3.1 (it stops almost immediately on a wrong number of
arguments error) nor 2.96 (it stops much further but with a more obscure,
for me, message)... ah the joys of c++ :-/
