FWIW, there's per-platform (i.e. vendor) configuration, so in principle
a
	rpm -ba --buildformandrake foo.spec
could be attempted, but it ain't happening.

rpm (and me) are somewhat at fault, because I've always been reluctant
to promote vendor to the same prominence as arch and os.

Maybe someday ...
