I am trying to compile RHAS2.1 from src rpms on a RedHat7.2 machine and
I have a ton of question that hopefully someone can answer. Once I have
the RPMS compiled I plan to use a 7.2 boot.img to kickstart the
intstallation of RHAS.
1.)Does anyone see any problems with this scenario?
2.)Some of the RPMS don't compile, eg the following which are only the
first 12 of those src.rpms which won't compile. If I can somehow get a
bare bones RHAS system up, then I should be able to compile these later
on I think, so long as I have enough to get me to a barebones stage. Am
I right?
3.)Has anyone tried compiling the RHAS2.1 src.rpms for i686?
File "alchemist.spec" will not compile
File "anaconda.spec" will not compile
File "awesfx.spec" will not compile
File "balsa.spec" will not compile
File "bonobo.spec" will not compile
File "compat-glibc.spec" will not compile
File "compat-libs.spec" will not compile
File "control-center.spec" will not compile
File "cvs.spec" will not compile
File "cyrus-sasl.spec" will not compile
File "ddskk.spec" will not compile
File "elilo.spec" will not compile
Kind Regards,
John
