Problem upgrading apcupsd.

I'm having problems on my RH 8.0 system trying to upgrade my apcupsd 
package. I tried to upgrade and it just hung. So then I saved my config 
files and did a delete which also hung, even though all the files were 
removed. Then ran

rpm -e --justdb apcupsd 

to clear the apcupsd entries from the database.

Then I tried to do a -Uvh again and it's still hanging. Here's the 
debug/trace output. Can someone please help?
