repackaged packages from noarch becomes i386.

Hi All,

I need some help determining if this is a bug.  If I erase a package
that is arch noarch, when rpm creates a repackaged package it becomes
arch i386?

Is this a bug?  I guess I don't fully understand the ramifications, or
I would not be asking.
