rpmrc provides on irix

Hi. I hope this is not a FAQ as I couldn't find an easy
way to search the list archive.

I have installed rpm-4.0.4 on an irix system. In previous
experience w/ rpm on a tru64 system I had to add some
system library provides: to lib/rpm/rpmrc.

However, irix seems to have a unique way of versioning
libraries. For example, libc.so.1(sgi1.0). How do I
put this version information into the rpmrc? I've
tried several variations:

  libc.so.1(sgi1.0)
  libc.so.1 sgi1.0
  libc.so.1.sgi1.0
  ...
