Asked this couple of days ago, and no response so far... thus my repost.
Does anybody has any clue or fix for this - it's quite crucial for us to
manage our servers etc.
REPOST:
I'm trying to mimic RPM installs on central server using
rpm -Uvh --justdb --dbpath /some/path/to/rpm/db x.rpm
or
rpm -Uvh --justdb --nodeps --noscripts --notriggers \
- - --dbpath /some/path/to/rpm/db x.rpm
and database under /some/path/to/rpm/db doesn't get changed at all. Is it an
expected behavior or rather bug?
system:
RH 7.2
rpm-4.0.4-7x
