I got the newest up2date packages to load the SSL certificates a RH9, a
RH7.3 and 2 RH8.0 servers (so far). All rpm installs worked except for
one of the RH8.0 boxes. The rpm -F up2date... just hung. After about
10 minutes I ran rpm -qa in another window. It also hung. After 10
minutes of that (20 total on the rpm -F) I had to kill -9 both
processes. rpm --rebuilddb hung, and so does rpm --initdb. Looking at
the archives I saw references to /var/lib/rpm/rpmdb... programs. None
of these are present on any of my RH8.0 servers. What do I need to do
to rebuild the rpm database? RPM version 4.1
