Broken Pipe

Hello

I have searched far and low for what this output means
when i am running rpmbuild -ba on Redhat 9
(2.4.20-20.9
) with rpm-build-4.2-0.69 & rpm-4.2-0.69 but havent
been able to find an answer. Has anyone here seen this
before?
It happens everytime i get to the check-files process
of the build.

Requires(rpmlib): rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <=
3.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
Checking for unpackaged file(s):
/usr/lib/rpm/check-files %{buildroot}
getOutputFrom(): Broken pipe

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
