Hello All,
I'm fairly new in RPM. I am a developer and I'm trying to customize the installation process.
I am reading some specs but I still have some unknown answers to:
1) Can I interrupt the installation process (maybee via some code) ? e.g. Does RPM engine can "give" me the file which is going to be installed (so I can for example modify the file content) and then let RPM install it (the modified file) in its way.
2) I have been reading that upgrading is actually (uninstalling old version)+(installing the new version). Do I have any control on the uninstalling process or even bypass the uninstalling process?
I will be VERY happy even if you write down some links to any docs related to my questions.
!! THANKS a LOT !!
