I might be able to help, but you'll need to provide more information.

- What version or RPM are you trying to build?
- Does the HP-UX 10.20 system have all relevant patches applied?  I know
  HP isn't releasing much for patches for 10.20 anymore, but do you have
  the latest patches they do offer installed?

- Do you have all the prerequisites installed?  Stuff like GNU make,
  zlib, bzip2, and so on?

- Most importantly, what error message are you getting?  I assume that
  make is failing because the link is failing.  What error message(s)
  are you getting from the linker or the compiler or whatever is failing?
