Rpm 4.0.4 problem

I am running rpm 4.0.4 on solaris 5.6. When I try to build the package,
I get the following:

RPM build errors:

Has anyone come across a similar problem?

Additionally, I do not understand the "Requires(rpmlib):
rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1 rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <=
3.0.4-1" message.
