RPM install check for free space

Hi,
I've created a large rpm package (1G) and in the %pre I'm creating a file system where the file will be installed,
but when installing the rpm, i get a message that there is not enough space at / filesystem.

So, to be able to install the package i use --ignoresize. I wanted to
know if there is any other way to do this in the rpm spec file.
