Thank you for the response. However, I was looking for the RPMTAG_*
corresponding to the '--whatprovides' rpm option? I am not looking to
use the 'rpm' command but rather librpm.


There isn't one tag, but rather
    RPMTAG_PROVIDENAME
    RPMTAG_PROVIDEVERSION
    RPMTAG_PROVIDEFLAGS
