Get rpm to compile with 2 pythons

I want to compile rpm for python2.3 mainly, but aside i want to compile
it for 2.4 too.

Like i would want to have a rpm-python and rpm-python2.4 set. Possible?
How do i go about it?

Is compiling rpm against 2 pythons on a single machine a harmful thing
in anyway?
