Requires(post): and Requires(postun) implemented?

I have been looking at some .spec files that don't seem to handled
Requires(post): and Requires(postun) properly in rpm.  I noticed some
discussion in 2001 and 2003 about these being ignored for the time
being.  Are these working, or should I use Requires and deal with
dependency loops as they come up?
