Jos,

You are correct.  Carp::Heavy is provide by Perl so to fix the
dependency I can probably add a Provides to my spec file.  But the other
modules are not included, so I guess the question is when you are
building a RPM for the Perl interpreter are there any special switches
you should throw so that it doesn't check dependencies in the normal
way.

Wrong list (this belongs to the taroon-list I think), but:

The standard RHEL3 perl package provides "perl(Carp::Heavy)", so why
does your perl package not provide it?
