Destination Location - parameterized?

I think i have a doubt that seems rather funny to me.
The requirement is,  i have to build an rpm for different environments.Now the install location is different among the different environment and i don't want separate rpms for the various 
envs.So the issue is to come up with parametrized value for the destination location during the build so that during install the destination directory loc will be picked up from some file and replace the parametrized
