Probably not.  RH tends to back-port security fixes to older versions of
included software, not upgrade to new versions.

How about grabbing the existing source RPM and look through the spec
file?  Alternatively, have a look at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Docs/Drafts/BuildingPackagesGuide for some
tips.
