installing RPMs over NFS

does anybody know of any issues doing RPM installation to NFS mounted
disk? 

here at work we've modified anaconda to support this, however we get
quite a few RPM install failures in %pre and %post scripts and I was
wandering whether it has anything to do with NFS mounted disc.
