scriplet failed error

hello,
the problem is that when i try to install the rpm it gives the following
error: %post (sbull-1.1-1.i386) scriptlet failed,exit status 255.
i tried even by putting an empty post script but the error is the same is 
this a problem with my machine or distro.i am using i386 machine with dual 
processor.And there is one thing more i builded and tried to install on 
single processor machine and the rpm works on them.
