Ok I tried this above theory out and it won't fly. I used a user with a
large uid and I still can't run the cgi scripts. I am getting
frustrated:
1. I can run the cgi script on the 7.1 system in /var/www/cgi-bin
2. I can run it on a 6.2 system and 7.0 system in a user's directory.
3. On both our 7.1 systems it fails with the following error in
suexec.log:
[2001-06-14 16:49:01]: info: (target/actual) uid: (bmassing/bmassing)
gid: (bmassing/bmassing) cmd: test.cgi
[2001-06-14 16:49:01]: emerg: cannot get docroot information
(/users/bmassing)
and the error in error.log
[Thu Jun 14 16:49:01 2001] [error] [client 131.194.131.12] Premature end
of script headers: /users/bmassing/Local/HTML-Documents/cgi-bin/t
est.cgi
We have scoured the FM and are stumped. Any more ideas out there? It is
nor permisiions as far as I can tell.
