Reiserfs is the journaling filesystem written by Hans Reiser. The best way
to describe what reiserfs is to take a system with a running reiserfs on
it and just pull the plug on it. Then when you reboot you get to note that
there is no fsck to run. Very cool. Also, data transfers are just plain
faster. One caveat: Don't use it if the partition is to be nfs served.
