Ok we have an old panasonic kxp-4455 printer we can get it to print
everything when its hooked up parrallel, text and postscript. When we hook
it up serial the only thing we can send is plan text. It is a postscript print
er, when we send it postscript though it just procceses it for about 3
hours and then dosnt print. I have the EOF flag set still dont work. Funny
thing this is only with 7.1. The machine that controls it is a 6.2
box, and can print everything just fine over serial. We have the printer
shared on the 6.2 box and we have the same problem, the 7.1 boxes can only
print using the text drivers, dosnt print when we use the postscript
drivers to the 6.2 box. Does anyone have any ideas since im going crazy
over this one. I have been to linuxdoc.org and looked for how-to's but
they dont seem to fix my probem. If anyone could point me in the right
direction. Also if anyone could tell me how to find out if status of the
stopbit, poloarity ,7/8 wordlegth, and other settings bout tty's. I have
tryed statserial dosnt seem to give us what we want.
Thanx in advance.
