Can i make the firewall write the logs in another files?

I am one of those 'super-paranoid'-people so i made a little firewall
today. The thing is that i would realy like if the fireall would write
the logs to another file instead of the default /var/log/messages.
A file like /var/log/firewall would be very nice!
Is this possible to do?

I dont like the /var/log/messages since it gets so big..   it would be
better to have ONE file for the firewall!
