do the legible strings on this line mean anything to you?
If no, then it looks like someone has made it in.. do you have _ALL_ of
the updates to the distro you run? I mean like everything up through this
morning:)
If yes, then...
It could also be a bad disk or a corrupted FS of some sort.. did you try
forcing an fsck? Whenever missing data.. fsck the disk (while offline,
and when the partition in question is unmounted)... I don't know how to
set a partition to fsck on next mount explicitly.. would be nice to know tho.
The possibility of a break in should always be considered.. and a
conveniently "mute" syslog file doesn't rule out one thing or another. I'd
hit the updates asap tho.
