Email Problems

It sounds as though the "qmail-send program at 
mailrelay.someisp.atsomewhere"
is unable to resolve the DNS records for the domain.  It would be helpful if
you gave us the actual domain name involved, so that we can see if the DNS
records are actually correct and visible to the outside world.  No need to
publish any real usernames, though.  Don't want to make things too easy for
the nasty spammers, right?  ;)

Have you tried manually resolving the domain DNS records from an external
machine?  (dig virtdomain1.com any)
