Zaurus 5500

I wonder if the Sharp Zaurus 5500 is supported out of the box with Red
Hat 9.  If so, how would I get it working?  I know that the usbnet
driver is supposed to be patched to work with Zaurus in the 2.5* kernels
- was it backported?
