I remember having that problem on my laptop after installing phoebe 3.
I was able to get back my screen just by switching to screen 1 then back
to screen 7 (<CTRL><ALT> 1 and <CTRL><ALT> 7). Is that true for Maddog?
But for the moment I can't remember what solved that problem. It was solved
under phoebe and now rh 9 is working perfectly.
My computer is a dell 8200 with nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 440 Go].
If usefull, I can try to dig into my memory.
